Christ Church Anglican
"Greetings!"

If you are planning a visit with us, please know that you are most welcome. Make yourself known following the service and sign our guest register located in the narthex (entrance hall). We hope that you find our worship meaningful and helpful and that you will come back again.

Christ Church Anglican was founded and incorporated on October 11, 1977. It is an independent parish in the “continuing” (traditional Episcopal) church movement which seeks unity with other Anglican parishes and the worldwide Anglican Communion.

In matters of faith, we teach and affirm the traditional faith, order and discipline of the historic, undivided Christian Church. Specifically, Christ Church affirms the following basic principles:

  1. Holy Scripture contains all things necessary to salvation and remains the rule and standard of faith;
  2. The ancient creeds (Nicene and Apostles’) are sufficient summaries of our faith;
  3. The sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion as generally necessary to salvation; and
  4. The historical Episcopate as locally adopted according to the needs of the Church

    In matters of worship, we generally STAND to sing, SIT to listen and KNEEL to pray. With respect to the procedure of Holy Communion: when receiving the Bread, raise your hands crossed with the right palm on top. Intinction is permitted whereby the Priest will remove the Bread from your palm, dip it in the chalice and place it on your tongue. Finally, please do not leave the altar rail until the communicant following you has received the elements. Children may come forward to receive a blessing.
